During the discovery and sketching phase, we played with concepts that ranged from adopting the physical qualities of art, such as form, texture, and light, to concepts that highlighted more abstract ideas of art’s institutional aesthetics and modern gallery graphics. As seen inn the chosen direction, the autographic quality of the logo aims to feature the artist’s signature as the primary focal point of the identity. The colored textures in the background move and change shape to illustrate interactivity and physical space.
SOMArts used this identity to promote their show through digital and social marketing platforms, as well as in the exhibition environment.
